Licht Lab (formerly Yóllotl Lab) is a personal project of Christian González Verón, driven by a single commitment: to deliver the best possible quality in every darkroom process while celebrating the endless opportunities of traditional film.

Development

We manually develop of all kinds of B&W film: Panchromatic, Ortho, IR, SFX and X-Ray

  • 35mm, 120 & 4×5 (large format)
  • Negatives cleaning with microfiber
  • Delivered uncut in a plastic sleeve
  • Urgent jobs upon request (w/extra charge)

Upon customer request, we can perform push and/or pull processing in any film and format.

Scanning

Negatives scanning and curves adjusted for hi-res output on fine-art media.

  • Basic Scan in 35mm, 120 & 4×5
  • Basic curves & contrast adjustment
  • Output at 100% in 16-bit Grayscale TIFF
  • Urgent jobs upon request (w/extra charge)

All scans and files are delivered in high-res TIFF via a password protected download link

Printing

Traditional darkroom printing and fine-art printing with high-permanence inks.

  • 4×6 (Platinum Paper, 300 grs)
  • 5×7 & 6×8 (Smooth Pearl Paper, 310 gr)
  • 8×10 (Semi Gloss Paper, 250 grs)
  • A3+ (Platinum & Museum Etching 350 grs)

We use the best paper brands like Canon, Canson, Moab, Hahnemühle and Ilford, we print with Chromalife 100 inks.

Available Sizes

All the photos are meticulously printed using Ilford, Foma, Kodak and ADOX products with photo paper in glossy, satin and matte.

Premium Paper

All prints are carefully made using fresh paper and chemicals, preserving the details and magic of the original photo.

Shipping

Each order is meticulously packaged for safe transit with robust and protective materials to preserve the printed photo.
